Note: UPDATED for 2019
Do you love blogger income reports? No matter where you are in your blogging journey, you can learn a lot from these blogger income reports from bloggers who take the time to share their income reports online.
Why are blog income reports so popular?
- They inspire. If you’ve just started a blog or are in the dreaming stage of blogging for profit and learning how to start, you may wonder if you’d be able to even get anyone to look at your blog. Most blog income reports tell a story of how the blogger first got started and grew their income over time. You might find yourself inspired enough to get started too!
- They educate. Many bloggers break down the types and sources of income they receive. Many income reports state what percentage of income is ad revenue, what percentage is from affiliate sales. Some bloggers even include the affiliate programs that produce the most income for them. It’s so valuable to see how others are making money with their blogs.
- They motivate. Reading another blogger’s income report can motivate you to try a new marketing strategy with your blog, post more often, or develop a larger social media following. Learning how to grow your audience and reach is a never-ending process for most bloggers, and you can always learn from someone doing something more effectively than you.

Where to Find Blog Income Reports
I love reading income reports. I find lots of income reports on Pinterest (Follow me on Pinterest!) but recently I wanted them all in one handy place. That way, when I need a dose of motivation to kick my blog butt into gear, I could use this handy reference.
There may be more recent reports. The reports are grouped by the general range of how much they make, from smallest to largest. Depending where you are on your blog journey, you may be able to relate better to smaller bloggers – or larger ones.
Thanks to all the bloggers who are willing to share their income reports and allow us to dream of what we can achieve with some hard work and effort!

Do You Want to Start Your Own Blog?
Hopefully by reading this article, you know that anyone at any level can start a blog. Unlike a regular job, there’s no limit to the amount of residual income you can earn with your own blog.
Blogging is low-risk and doesn’t have to cost a lot to get started. Your out-of-pocket costs will typically be less than $10 a month. In fact, I can’t think of too many other businesses that offer this much potential for passive income for expenses of less than $10 a month! It’s perfect for anyone who wants to start a work at home business, including moms.
What’s the Best Way to Start Your Own Blog?
Choosing a web host is the first and most important step in creating a blog.
You can choose a free blog host, but if you want to have a moneymaking blog, it will be a lot easier to monetize your blog if you use a paid hosting plan. You don’t want to get in a situation where you have to spend a lot of time and money switching from a free to a paid plan later.
Bluehost is a very popular hosting service (and the one I use for my moneymaking blog!). As a new blogger, you want a reliable web host who offers a lot of value for the money. Starting a blog is one of the best ways to make passive income.
Bluehost is THE BEST for value and customer service. (if you have any questions, you can simply call their 24/7 customer service line!) Bluehost is such an awesome company that they’ve offered exclusive pricing for my readers.
For detailed steps on how to sign up for Bluehost and get started with your own blog very easily and inexpensively, check out How to Start Blogging for Money. It’ll guide you through the process to starting your own blog and earning the money you’ve been seeing on the income reports above.
You can find some of the tools I use for blogging on my Recommendations page.
